Name of Training :	Restorative Practices: Building Classroom Connections
Training Description :	This highly interactive workshop equips school personnel with the necessary skills to facilitate the Restorative Practices Circle Process in their classrooms. A Restorative Practices Circle is not just a class meeting but a process by which people are brought together to both share and listen to the issues that impact them using the principals of restorative practices. By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to: •Establish a positive community in their classroom by learning how to use the circle process in preventative ways. •Effectively address classroom behaviors by using the circle process to engage students in problem solving. •Expand their classroom management tool belt by applying restorative justice principals. •Improve learning by creating a supportive classroom environment through stimulating discussion. All participants will receive course materials and "The Little Book of Restorative Discipline for Schools" by Lorraine Stutzman Amstutz and Judy H. Mullet.
